Building a model & talent agency
After I had completed my internship in London with Hughes & IMM Models. The director asked if I would assist in the creation of an agency, which was to combine the three branches (Hughes, IMM and UK Talent Pool) under one entity. From this, IMM Agency Group was created, home to three of the Ups best model & talent boards for casting agents to use.
Two brands in one
It was very important to the IMM team that we would refine the brand and the websites content with a high-end elegance. We crafted wireframes focused on nailing the user experience - allowing us to define different layout structures, helping separate certain boards on the website. Other important factors was an ‘activity’ section where the agency could promote amazing campaigns the talent had worked on.
Promoting versatility
As we had three brands consolidating under IMM Agency Group, this meant that the social presence and model cards needed to be reconsidered. With the clean brand refresh, we were able to achieve that premium feel, allowing the team to express the wide reaching talent and content sphere IMM now represented.
The brand finale
In 2020, IMM was expanding and acquired a Manchester model agency. The versatility of the branding allowed us to differentiate between the these two locations by defining IMM London & IMM Manchester boards. This was reflected in the user experience by allowing casting agents to toggle between locations with one click
What we achieved
Since working together, IMM has expanded considerably allowing them to take more market share within the UK and EU. Expanding their boards and office locations thanks to the brand versatility - enabling them to become the leading agent for inclusion and diversity. Overall, it is a special piece in my portfolio, as it was a result of my first internship and the excitement I had to finally be working professionally in the industry.
